Hello to everyone!

Sorry to say that "Je ne parle pas Français couramment" (I looked that up in the dictionary as well).
I will have to stick to english language, dictionary on hand :-)

Since 2007 I have been visiting the Trun-Chambois Gap almost every year, most of the time for a week each time.
My hobby is to try to find spots where 1944 pictures were made back then and have a similar picture made of the same spot right now. Say Then and Now, or T&N.
Tracing back the according troop movements of both allied and german forces around these pictures brings me from Trun to STB, Coudehard to Tournai and if needed even further.

The whole idea is to gather my pictures and have them displayed on a website soon, if possible with correct caption, GPS and mentioned additional information.

The nice thing is that I keep discovering new pictures all the time. A VERY good reason to plan another trip to Normandy to do some more exciting work!
Very interesting to find so many people contribute to this forum. Still a lot to be done for me reading all this!

Greetings to all of you, from Holland.
