did you read the famous Mark Bando's book Breakout at Normandy (The 2nd Armored Division in the Land of the Deadf), published by MBI in 1999 (now out of print but sometimes available on ebay or amazon). Fissot assisted Bando in the writting of this book. The job done by M. Bando is wonderful.

Oui Tristan je connaisse le passage avec Tychsen, but is there any further modern information about that ambush??

Did he drive in a Kübel or in a VW166swimmer??

How long was he alive?? Only due to the arrival of the americans who took his insignias or until this farmer took his pistol or longer to his way to D49 crossroad??

Are there any pictures of the side of his first grave beside D49 road west of Haute Vents???

Or his second grave on the military cemetery le Chene-Guerin?
